In my opinion I think that the Writ of Habeas Corpus is the most important right protected by the constitution. The Writ of Habeas Corpus is located in Article 1 section 9 of the Constitution of the United Sates of America. It makes sure that you can not be arrested without being told what you are being arrested for. The Writ of Habeas Corpus also helps you defend yourself in court better so you know what you are talking about. So if you were driving down the road and you are fallowing the laws perfectly and a cop pulls you over and arrests you without telling you why, you could not be convicted of a crime. Well for one you were doing nothing wrong at all. Plus the cop did not tell why you were being arrested. So technically the cop was the one that was not fallowing the law.
